 An Evaluation Report of Postgraduate Education in China 2010-2011, has been published by Science Publishing on 6th of Nov, 2010. This book is developed by Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation (RCCSE), network of science and education evaluation in China, etc.
This book aims to provide a guideline for Postgraduate candidates, to help the communities to understand the universities, to provide position information for the developments and competitions of universities and to provide government the quantitative basis for scientific decision-making.
Introduction
This book is developed by the Key Research base of Humanities and Social Sciences, Hubei Province - Research Center for Chinese Science Evaluation (RCCSE), network of science and education evaluation in China, etc., edited by Prof Junping Qiu.
There are four parts:
First, ranking of graduate education in China. There are 469 rankings with 9 aspects, including 31 provinces (municipalities)(excluding Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan), 56 graduate schools, 477 colleges and universities, 11 subject categories, 11 subject categories, 81 first grade disciplines, 373 subjects;
Second, summaries of 481 graduate education institutions in China, including various types of ranking results, dominant disciplines, contacts, etc.;
Third, questions and answers;
Last, appendix - admission score chart for postgraduates of national and main universities in 2009
