Purpose of Evaluation The purposes of this evaluation are：understanding the current position of our universities in the world, promoting the internationalization of China's education and research, observing the state of the development and deficiencies in China's higher education with an international perspective, providing detailed and accurate data reference for training universities’ international influence step by step, on the basis of which we can draw up further reform plans to promote the health and rapid development of Chinese higher education.
Object of Evaluation The objects of this evaluation are 1475 universities whose total cites of papers ranked in the former 1% in the US ESI database in recent 11 years, and some other institutes. Data Source
